The
Generation 3 cable is constructed of fine stranded, high-purity
silver-plated copper wire in a star-quad configuration with
a braided outer shield. Each channel is four bundles of strands,
separately Teflon insulated and then configured together into
two positive and two negative conductors. A tightly coupled
outer shield and dense outer jacket reduce interference by
radio-frequency and electromagnetic fields, and minimize micro-movement
of the signal wires.
Standard unbalanced terminations are low-mass, rhodium plated
RCA plugs. High quality balanced XLR terminations are also
available. Cables are available in any length.
